Secrets stay secret. API key secrets are shown once and stored only as one-way verifiers. Revocation takes effect on the next request.
Least privilege. Every key carries a role. Permissions are checked on every request, and keys can be limited to specific services and browser origins.
Accurate billing. Credits are reserved atomically before work starts and released if a request fails, so concurrent traffic can never overspend.
Frequently asked questions
- Do unused credits roll over?
- Free monthly and subscription credits expire at the end of their period. Prepaid credits never expire.
- Am I charged for failed requests?
- No. Only successful requests are charged; failed ones release their reserved credits.
- Which credits are used first?
- Free monthly credits, then subscription credits, then prepaid credits.
- Can my team share a workspace?
- Yes. Invite members and give each a role with exactly the permissions they need.
- Can I use webknx through a marketplace?
- Yes. Our APIs are also available through RapidAPI and ClankerBay, which bill you directly.
